Reflections on Loss and Commemoration
To mark ten years since the events of September 11, 2001, The Wolfsonian presents works from the collection that reflect ways in which visual artists have recorded and commemorated disaster, tragedy, and loss in the early twentieth century. We invite you to contemplate how artistic works express events, thoughts, and feelings that are beyond ordinary expression.
The Wolfsonian display is presented as part of Florida International University’s public program series, Unity/Diversity: Reflecting on the Meaning of 9/11.
